Kid Cudi haalde woensdag flink uit naar Kanye West en Drake op Twitter. Hij noemde ze onder andere jaloerse haters en neppe artiesten die de hitlijsten bestormen met tracks die geschreven zijn door dertig songwriters. Zo zei hij onder andere:
“My tweets apply to who they apply. Ye, Drake, whoever. These niggas dont give a fuck about me. And they aint fuckin with me…Ive been loyal to those who haven’t been to me and that ends now. Now im your threat.”
De reactie van Kanye West liet niet lang op zich wachten. 'Ye stopte plotseling tijdens een optreden om Kid Cudi met de grond gelijk te maken.
