Kwabs is een soulzanger uit Londen, Engeland. Hij heet eigenlijk Kwabena Sarkodee Adjepong, groeit op in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, studeert jazz muziek, maar richt zich zelf voornamelijk op de soul.
"The music is soul, but when people usually talk about soul they think of it from the past - like a Bill Withers type of aesthetic. I want to make stuff that is more modern and in keeping with where music has been recently, and where I think it's going. It's quite dark, but hopefully it will inspire people and give them hope," aldus Kwabs in het magazine Digital Spy.
