Nieuw album NoizBoiz laat buitenlandse ambities horen

Oh My Gaaaawd, de Nederlandse Grimescene kan los, want er is nieuwe ‘noise’ uit van NoizBoiz. Het is hun verfrissing in de droogte, namelijk het album Oase. Vanochtend vertelde het trio Axel, Mucky en Don er meer over in Start.

Met het Nederlands- en Engelstalig album en hun gelijknamige single Oase, hebben ze behalve Grime ook andere stijlen aan elkaar gemixt. Als het aan de boiz ligt, is de toon voor hun buitenlandse ambities hiermee duidelijk gezet.

Next Noiz?
Wat de volgende single wordt? Dat is eigenlijk nog een beetje vaag. “Dansen Hier heeft ook potentie. We Go met Pete Philly ook. Maar wisselen met Ronnie Flex is ook wel een goeie.” De jongens zijn in ieder geval het meest te spreken over hun samenwerking met Pete Philly. “Het is gelukt zoals we bedoeld hadden.”

Magisch tintje
Hoewel Grime nog maar een kindje is in Nederland, is de 54-jarige Surinaams-Nederlandse zangeres Ruth Jacott stiekem ook te horen op het album. De jongens werkten in haar studio, waar spontaan werd besloten om een beetje van Ruth's magische vocalen eroverheen te sprenkelen.
