N*E*R*D brengt videoclip van Daft Punk productie uit

N*E*R*D lanceerde gisteravond de clip van de Daft Punk productie Hypnotize U. Het is de tweede single van het studio album Nothing dat gisteren tegelijkertijd uitgebracht werd.

Het is opvallend dat het trio samengewerkt heeft met Daft Punk, omdat ze dit soort uitstapjes naar externe producties niet snel nemen in het N*E*R*D-kamp. In een interview met de Washington Post vertelt Pharrell het verhaal.

"We liepen elkaar toevallig tegen het lijf en het klikte direct." Het gesprek ging zelfs zo goed dat de artiesten elkaar hun nieuwe muziek lieten horen. "Ze kregen van mij het nieuwe N*E*R*D album te horen en lieten me vervolgens luisteren naar de TRON track (Derezzed). Ik dacht 'DAMN! Wij moeten samen muziek gaan maken!' Het was dan ook een eer om met ze samen te mogen werken."
