De Pride Amsterdam is officieel van start gegaan. Van 29 juli tot en met 6 augustus staat heel Amsterdam in het teken van jouw pride! Vandaag werd deze week afgetrapt met de Pride Walk. De optocht ging van het homomonument aan de Westertoren via het Leidseplein naar het Vondelpark.

Ondanks de slechte weersverwachting, was de opkomst verrassend hoog. Naar verwachting zouden er 5000 mensen meelopen, maar het aantal liep op tot ruim 7000 mensen.
